Taoyuan’s largest regional hospital, Min-Sheng General, held its 34th anniversary celebrations at its flagship Jin-Kuo campus on July 20th, 2009. Several local government officials were invited, including Taoyuan Deputy Mayor Guo Cai-Wen.

Min-Sheng executives, such as Chairman Yang Min-Sheng, Superintendant Zhang Yangquan, Director Kang Zhisen and Taoyuan Deputy Mayor Guo opened the festivities by cutting the cake. Min-Sheng General Hospital is the only hospital in Taiwan with JCIDSC certification. The Department of Cardiovascular medicine was rewarded with the JCIDSC honor.

In addition to the activities, volunteers donating blood were eligible for prizes, such as free ice-cream and gift vouchers. The anniversary celebration activities also included several film viewings for staff and local residents alike. Everyone enjoyed the festivities.

For 34 years, the Min-Sheng Health Care System has upheld the principles of innovation, excellence, and integrity. In recent years, the health care group has added a number of honors, such as becoming the Taiwan’s first JCI hospital and its first JCIDSC AMI hospital. In the future, Min-Sheng will continue to focus on international standards and quality of care.
